SBMAT members and trustees

South Bank Multi Academy Trust (SBMAT) is governed by five Members and a Board of ten Trustees. The Members appoint the Trustees and also have the power to dismiss them. The Trust Board can also co-opt Trustees to the Board. The Trustees delegate powers to the Local Governing Boards and also appoint Governors. The Local Governing Board can also co-opt Governors. The powers delegated are detailed in our Scheme of Delegation, which can be found on the Trust Policies page of the SBMAT website.

SBMAT’s current Trust Board consists of Trustees with skills in finance, legal matters, human resources and school governance.
