Last month, 43 of Scarcroft Primary’s KS2 pupils took part in the Everybody Dance Festival at York Theatre Royal.
In the afternoon, they took part in workshops and watched performances. One workshop on breakdancing inspired our pupils so much that they carried on long after the workshop! In the evening they gave an excellent performance of their piece that they’ve worked hard on in dance club throughout this term and finished off with the finale dance with all the other schools taking part.
Our pupils were so enthusiastic and curious throughout the day and smashed their performance. Well done to all involved!
